Chemical compatibility

This unique and patented flagship product from Advanced Process is designed for the dosing of a wide range of chemicals within the potable water, wastewater and effluent treatment markets. These include iron salts, aluminium salts, speciality water treatment chemicals plus various odour-abatement chemicals.

KTB Inside

Within the storage and chemical handling system, the use of metallic components is kept to a minimum to provide compatibility with a wide range of chemicals, and varying in concentration, corrosive characteristics and freezing points.

Patented to outperform

Another KTB feature is the use of a PLC with site-specific software, incorporating ultrasonic level monitors and flow switches to alert operators to any abnormal operating conditions. The dosing plant - located within a kiosk and behind a splash screen for enhanced saftey - incorporates duty and stand-by pumps. The kiosk is located within a bunded area, with visual and electronic means monitoring means of checking chemical levels. Segregation between the electronic control area and the dosing area adds to safety, although easy operator access to both areas is also provided.

The result is KTB – a patented, compact and safe dosing system from Advanced Process Systems.

Our Role

Advanced Process is a specialist designer and builder of chemical dosing plants and has been bringing its advanced engineered solutions to the treatment of potable water, wastewater and industrial effluents for many years. We also serve related markets, with an unparalleled track record of completed projects specializing in septicity control for wastewater treatment and phosphate removal.

Chemical engineering

Advanced Process dosing solutions are capable not only of delivering a precise flow of chemicals over long and sustained operational periods, but the system design is engineered to store and handle a full range of chemicals. This capability spans not only different concentrations of chemicals, but also their differing corrosive effects, freezing points, viscosity, proneness to gassing and other variables.

Built to approved standards

All Advanced Process dosing systems – including tanks – are design-engineered, assembled and pre-tested at our dedicated manufacturing facility in Birmingham. Long before any equipment gets to site, it has been pre-commissioned within the controlled environment of a modern production plant. This makes site installation and final commissioning far quicker, safer and hassle-free.

Fully supported

Every Advanced Process chemical dosing system comes with an extended support and protection package. We can also offer a further package of servicing and maintenance throughout the life-time of the system. The level and type of this support can be tailored to your needs and ensures a safe and efficient dossing solution for years to come.
